How to use the cookie stamp correctly?

Roll out the dough to 4 to 5 mm thickness, lightly flour or sprinkle with powdered sugar depending on the type of dough, press the pattern into the dough using light pressure, then cut out the biscuits using a cookie cutter round piece.

How should you properly maintain the cookie stamp?

Clean the pad with a soft brush and, if necessary, wipe it with a damp cloth, then allow it to dry sufficiently. Then apply a layer of vegetable oil or olive oil to the pad. This way, your stamp is ready for later use.

The cookie recipe using edible flowers:

Ingredients :

- 200 g softened butter
- 100 g of powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 300 g all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- Edible flowers (washed and dried, such as rose petals, marigolds, violets, etc.)

Instructions :

1. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and creamy.
2. Add the vanilla extract and egg, then beat until fully incorporated.
3. In another bowl, mix the flour and salt together.
4. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, then stir until a dough forms.
5. Gently fold the edible flowers into the batter, but be careful that you don't crush them.
6. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
7. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F) and prepare a baking tray by lining it with baking paper.
8. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to a thickness of approximately 5 mm.
9. Using round cookie cutters, cut out cookies from the dough and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them slightly apart. Then, using a cookie stamp, transfer the desired pattern.
10. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10–12 minutes, or until the edges of the cookies are lightly browned.
11. Let the biscuits cool on a rack before eating them.

These cookies will be pleasantly scented and decorated thanks to the edible flowers. Just be sure to use flowers grown organically and without chemicals for optimal results. Enjoy your cookies!
