Savoury Parmesan Biscuits

Aperitif biscuits are great for any occasion. No idea of what to serve your guests again? Parmesan shortbread biscuits is a guarantee of your success! Peppers, basil or sun-dried tomatoes? No matter which of those you like most, as this recipe is universal for all spices based on your preference. One of the biggest advantages: These parmesan biscuits are done in as little as 15 minutes!

Ingredients for the basic dough:

200 g Flour

100 g softened Butter

120 g Parmesan Cheese

1 Egg

1 Pinch of Salt

Spices and Herbs of your Choice

Method: Dough

Mix all the dry ingredients together. Cut butter into small pieces and rub all ingredients between your palms until sandy. Stir in one egg, then knead quickly and shape the dough into a ball. Be careful and do not over-knead the dough, as it should not become elastic.

You can let the dough rest, but from my experience I know it is not necessary. Especially if you are in a hurry, you can skip this step.

Roll out the dough to the thickness of about 3-4 mm (or a little thicker if you want). Using a cookie cutter of your choice, cut out the biscuits. I used the St Patrick's Day theme cookie cutters. However, you can of course use other funny cookie cutters such as bones, fish bones, fish or geometric shapes.

Bake at 180°C until golden brown.
