Pumpkin Cookies with Chocolate Spread

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

(Portion: about 13 cookies)

 

Ingredients:

 

140 g Flour

1 Pinch of Salt

50 g Sugar

60 g cold Butter

60 g fresh Cream

Vanilla Powder

A few Drops of Food Colouring (orange)

Chocolate Spread

 

Method: 

 

Put flour, butter, salt, vanilla powder and sugar in a bowl and mix all the ingredients together until a sandy mixture is obtained. Add fresh cream and a few drops of orange food coloring. Then mix all ingredients again thoroughly and form the dough into a ball.

 

Roll out the dough thinly. Using a pumpkin-shaped cookie cutter, cut out pumpkins. Use mini cookie cutters and cut out faces on half of your cookies. Arrange the cookies onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake for about 20 minutes at 160°C until golden brown. Then let your fresh baked cookies cool down. 

 

Spread the bottom halves (pumpkins without faces) of each cookie with chocolate spread and sandwich gently with the tops of the cookies (pumpkins with faces). Done ­– your cookies are ready to be served!
