Recipe for 3D Tree Cake (Chocolate Version)

Ingredients:

3D Tree Cake:

250 g Flour

40 g bitter Cocoa

100 g Sugar

½ tbsp. Baking Powder

½ tbsp. Baking Soda

60 g softened Butter

2 Eggs

250 ml lukewarm Milk

Cream:

250 g Mascarpone

100 g melted Chocolate

small Espresso

Method: 3D Tree Cake

In a bowl, mix flour, bitter cocoa, sugar, baking powder and baking soda. Add softened butter and eggs. Then add milk gradually and mix until a smooth batter forms.

Pour your batter onto baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake at 170 °C for about 10 minutes. Be careful – the cake batter should not rise too much, it should be about 2 cm thick. If the cake is too high, spread the dough on the baking tray.

Once your cake has cooled completely, cut out the desired shapes using our cookie cutters (3D Tree Set). I, personally, didn’t use the two largest star-shaped cookie cutters but of course it's up to you!

Method: Chocolate Cream

Make an espresso. Whip mascarpone and add the melted chocolate (cooled to room temperature). Then add the prepared espresso gradually. The cream should be thick. Let your cream cool in the fridge first. Using a piping bag, glue your star-shaped mini cakes with cream together. Start with the largest one and finish with the smallest.

Your 3D Tree Cake is done! Enjoy your perfect dessert!
