Ingredients:

 

250 g sifted Flour

1 tsp. Baking Powder

125 g softened Butter

125 g Sugar

3 Egg Yolks (+ 1 Egg Yolk to glaze)

1 Packet of Vanilla Sugar

1 Pinch of Salt

 

Method:

 

Mix together the softened butter, sugar, vanilla, sugar, salt, egg yolks, sifted flour, and baking powder. Rub this mixture together with your fingers until it resembles fine breadcrumbs. Shape the dough into a ball, cover in cling film and leave to rest for 2 hours in a cool place. Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Roll out the dough until it is 4 mm thick and cut out the biscuits using our cookie- cutters https://chezvera.com/en/cookie-cutter-forest-animals . Lay the biscuits on baking paper and brush the tops with the egg yolk. Leave to dry and then brush over once more. Bake for 10-15 minutes at 180 °C.
