Butter cookies

These butter cookies are quick and easy! I used an engraved rolling pin to give them a cool and original look.

Ingredients for about 60 pcs of butter cookies:

 

525 g flour

200 g powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla sugar

pinch of salt

organic lemon peel

200 g butter

3 eggs

 

Method:

 

Place all ingredients in a large bowl or on a work surface and beat them gradually into a smooth dough. If you don’t have a stand mixer, use a whisk. Cover the dough and chill in the refrigerator for a few hours or overnight.

 

Roll out the dough on a floured surface. Cut into desired shapes using cookie cutters. I used the snowflake-shaped and circle-shaped cookie cutters. You can also use stamps or an engraved rolling pin. This dough is great for decorating with an engraved rolling pin. I used the engraved rolling pin with snowflake pattern.

 

Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake them in a preheated oven at 170 °C until golden brown.
