Soft doughnuts from Lyon
Ingredients:
375 g Flour
125 g cold melted Butter
50 g Sugar
3 Eggs
1 Pinch of Salt
Orange Flavor (or any other)
Method:
Put the flour in a bowl, make a hole in the middle and add eggs, butter, sugar and salt. Mix well until a dough forms. Let the dough rest for 2 hours.
Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough, then cut out some simple shapes – for example circles or rhombus. Let the cookies boil in an oil bath. After you boil the cookies, let them cool. Finally, sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
