Apple Pie

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients: 

 

Dough:

200 g Flour

1/2 Packet of Yeast

150 g Icing Sugar

1 Packet of Vanilla Sugar

2 Eggs

4 tbsp. melted Butter

6 tbsp. Milk

5 Apples

Cream:

80 g Butter

100 g Icing Sugar

1 Egg

 

Method:

 

Preheat the oven to 150 °C. Pour flour and baking powder into a bowl. Add sugar, vanilla sugar, eggs, melted butter and milk. Mix it all until homogeneous.

 

Peel three apples, cut them into strips and add them to the batter, then pour the batter into a baking pan. Peel the remaining two apples, cut them into slices and arrange them on the top of the pie.

 

Bake the pie for 20 minutes at 150 °C. Meanwhile, prepare the cream – mix melted butter, sugar and an egg. After 20 minutes, take the pie out of the oven and top it with the prepared cream. Bake for another 30 minutes at 150 °C.

 

In the end, grill the pie in the oven (if possible) for a few minutes so that it is golden brown and lightly caramelized.
