How to use the cookie stamp correctly?

Roll out the dough to 4 to 5 mm thickness, lightly flour or sprinkle with powdered sugar depending on the type of dough, press the pattern into the dough using light pressure, then cut out the biscuits using a cookie cutter round piece.

How should you properly maintain the cookie stamp?

Clean the pad with a soft brush and, if necessary, wipe it with a damp cloth, then allow it to dry sufficiently. Then apply a layer of vegetable oil or olive oil to the pad. This way, your stamp is ready for later use.

 

Here is a simple recipe for chocolate cookies

 

Ingredients :


- 200 g of dark chocolate
- 100 g of butter
- 150 g of powdered sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 250 g all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- Chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions :


1. Preheat your oven to 180 °C (350 °F) and prepare a baking tray by lining it with baking paper.
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a double boiler or microwave, stirring until smooth. Leave it to cool slightly.
3. In a large bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until the mixture becomes foamy.
4. Add the melted chocolate mixture to the egg mixture and mix well.
5. In another bowl, mix the flour with baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
6. Gradually add the flour mixture to the chocolate mixture and mix it until the dough is smooth.
7. Using a tablespoon, drop mounds of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them far enough apart. Using a pastry stamp, transfer the desired design.
8. Bake the cookies for about 10 to 12 minutes, or until slightly firm to the touch.
9. Let the cookies cool on a rack before enjoying them with a glass of milk or a cup of coffee.
