Plump Reindeers

 

Ingredients:

 

110 g Butter

275 g Flour

45 g Corn Starch (Maïzena)

110 g Sugar

1 Egg

Vanilla Extract

1 Pinch of Salt

20 g dark Chocolate

Red bonbons for the nose

 

 

 

 

 

Method:

 

The dough:

Mix the butter, sugar, and salt in a blender. Add the egg and the vanilla extract, then add the flour and the cornstarch. Mix at

low speed until a homogeneous texture is obtained.

Roll out the dough to be 4-5 mm thick. Cut out the shapes of the circles:

  • If the shapes do not come off easily, pre-cut the cookies on the baking paper and put the dough in the refrigerator. After 15 min, cookies will come off without a problem. Then, put them on baking paper and bake for 10 minutes at 180 °C. Then let them cool on a rack.

 

Deco:

Melt the chocolate in a water bath. Then, pour the melted chocolate into a cone and draw the eyes and reindeer antlers.

Glue a red bonbon to form the nose.
