Nut Cookies

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

 

210 g Flour

70 g Powdered Sugar

140 g Butter

2 Egg Yolk

Lemon Zest

Walnuts

200 g dark Chocolate for Baking

 

Method:

 

Sift flour and powdered sugar together, add softened Butter, egg yolk and lemon zest. Stir all ingredients together fast and form the dough into a ball. Let the dough rest (ideal overnight) in the fridge.

 

Roll out the dough (about 3 mm thickness) and using a circle-shaped Cookie cutter cut out the cookies. Bake the cookies at 180 °C until golden brown. Let your cookies cool.

 

Finally, spread half the cookies with a cream and sandwich together with remaining cookies.

 

Dekorating-Tip: Melt chocolate using a water bath. Spread melted chocolate all over each cookie using a brush. At the end, finish every cookie with half a walnut placed in the center. Let your cookies dry well.
