How to prepare a BENTO box
Inspiration from Pinterest
4 slices of whole grain bread with seeds
2 slices of Emmental cheese
2 slices of ham
Margarine or butter
1 leaf of iceberg lettuce
1 carrot
1 cucumber
forest fruit
Preparation of my BENTO box
Spread the bread slices with butter, cut the cheese and ham with a star-shaped cookie cutter and place them on the bread.
Wash and peel the cucumber and carrot. Cut them into slices about half a centimetre thick. Using a mini bunny and butterfly cookie cutter, cut out the vegetables.
Prepare the sandwiches by placing a slice of Emmental cheese, ham and a lettuce leaf on the sandwich bread.
Place the mini sandwiches in your child's BENTO box and decorate them with the baby carrots and cucumbers.
If your BENTO box has more than one layer, place the fruit in the other layer for a perfect dessert.
